Exactly as it sounds, private instruction
is available for any individual or group of people that
want to learn more about sailing on a cruising yacht.
Available on any of our vessels ranging
from 36 feet to 54 feet on monohulls or catamarans, you
can go out at any time, for any length of time, to sail
with an ASA certified captain. The captain will work with
you on any skills you are interested in learning at a
pace you are comfortable with. The important goal
is to make you comfortable cruising as skipper.
We can provide instruction for you and your crew for a
portion of your vacation to make you comfortable and proficient
to charter a boat by yourself. This is especially helpful
if your target charter boat is somewhat different than
you are used too. For instance, if  you
are a capable sailor or boater on monohulls but would
like to sail a catamaran, we can tailor private instruction
around making you comfortable sailing a cat. Take an instructor
out for a day, sail around the bay and get comfortable
at the helm and with the rigging. Return back to port
to drop off your instructor, and then continue on your
vacation to all parts of the bay sailing the catamaran
of your dreams.
The sky is the limit, or at least the boundaries of the
